2. Nature of Website Information

All material published by DRL on this website — including research drafts, Index baselines, guidelines, and toolkits — is made available for general informational and educational purposes. This information does not constitute bespoke professional development, therapeutic, or psychological advice.

3. Permitted and Restricted Use

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our platform resources strictly in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

4. Accounts & Inquiries

In order to access specific evaluation tools or cohort databases, you may be required to register a secure account. You must maintain the absolute confidentiality of your access details and notify us immediately if you suspect any compromise. We reserve the right to suspend accounts failing to adhere to research integrity protocols.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The digital assets, proprietary frameworks, text indices, graphics, marks, and codebase used on our platforms are owned by or licensed to Truth and Dare Pty Ltd trading as Digital Readiness Lab. They are protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark laws.

Academic quoting and reference to the Digital Readiness Index metrics are encouraged, provided proper citation is given to "Digital Readiness Lab" as the author.

6. User Submissions & Feedback

If you submit comments, suggestions, or feedback to the Lab, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, adapt, and publish that feedback for research improvement, website development, or promotional purposes without any obligation of compensation.

Our platforms may interlink with external resources, third-party publications, or government guidelines. These links are provided solely as a reference. DRL does not endorse, verify, or assume any responsibility for the accuracy or legal compliance of external content.

8. Interlinking Privacy

Your use of our digital platforms is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accept the data handling practices outlined in that document.

9. General Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the DRL platforms and materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular research objective or uninterrupted, error-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any statutory consumer guarantees.

Subject to those guarantees, DRL will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our research frameworks or digital publications.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DRL and its directors, research staff, and affiliates from any claim, loss, or expense (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) arising from your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
